  • PS4 - Playing DVDs from other regions

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a video with the unboxing of my Playstation 4 (pt-BR audio only). I live in Brazil and as you may know, the official price of the console here is beyond absurd, so I did what most do and bought an imported one. The specific model is CUH-1115A; that's the latest American model. Some viewers asked questions in the comments about DVD playback. They wanted to know whether they'd be able to watch their Brazilian DVDs on the American PS4. We all know the PS4 is region-locked for movie media, be it Blu-Ray or DVD (thankfully, there's no such locking for games). I searched around the internet and could not find a definitive answer. In fact, all the information I found led me to believe it was not possible at all. However, I decided to try it out and found that, ye...

The one thing to keep in mind is that the number of changes is limited, so you can't keep going back and forth indefinitely. Even though I don't use the PS4 to play DVD movies, I hope this video can help those who do. I also chose to record it in English so that it can be accessible to more people who might be wondering about this subject. Immunoglobulins/Antibody Structure Types and Function LIKE US ON FACEBOOK : fb.me/Medsimplified Antibody (Ab), also known as an immunoglobulin (Ig), is a large, Y-shape protein produced by plasma cells that is used by the immune system to identify and neutralize pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. The antibody recognizes a unique molecule of the harmful agent, called an antigen, via the variable region Each tip of the "Y" of an antibody contains a paratope (analogous to a lock) that is specific for one particular epitope (similarly analogous to a key) on an antigen, allowing these two structures to bind together with precision. Using this binding mechanism, an antibody can tag a microbe or an infected cell for attack by other parts of the immune system, or can neutralize its target directly (for example, by blocking a part of a microbe that is essential for its invasion and survival). Antibodies are glycoproteins belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily; ] the terms antibody and immunoglobulin are often used interchangeably. Though strictly speaking, an antibody is not the same as an immunoglobulin; B cells can produce two types of immunoglobulins - surface immunoglobulins, which are B cell receptors; and secreted immunoglobulins, which are antibodies. So antibodies are one of two classes of immunoglobulins. Though the general structure of all antibodies is very similar, a small region at the tip of the protein is extremely variable, allowing millions of antibodies with slightly different tip structures, or antigen-binding sites, to exist. This region is known as the hypervariable region. Each of these variants can bind to a different antigen. This enormous diversity of antibody paratopes on the antigen-binding fragments allows the immune system to recognize an equally wide variety of antigens The large and diverse population of antibody paratope is generated by random recombination events of a set of gene segments that encode different antigen-binding sites (or paratopes), followed by random mutations in this area of the antibody gene, which create further diversity.[ This recombinational process that produces clonal antibody paratope diversity is called V(D)J or VJ recombination. Basically, the antibody paratope is polygenic, made up of three genes, V, D, and J. Each paratope locus is also polymorphic, such that during antibody production, one allele of V, one of D, and one of J is chosen. These gene segments are then joined together using random genetic recombination to produce the paratope. The regions where the genes are randomly recombined together is the hyper variable region used to recognise different antigens on a clonal basis. IgA Found in mucosal areas, such as the gut, respiratory tract and urogenital tract, and prevents colonization by pathogens.[14] Also found in saliva, tears, and breast milk. Some antibodies form complexes that bind to multiple antigen molecules. IgD Functions mainly as an antigen receptor on B cells that have not been exposed to antigens. ] It has been shown to activate basophils and mast cells to produce antimicrobial factors. IgE Binds to allergens and triggers histamine release from mast cells and basophils, and is involved in allergy. Also protects against parasitic worms IgG In its four forms, provides the majority of antibody-based immunity against invading pathogens. The only antibody capable of crossing the placenta to give passive immunity to the fetus. IgM Expressed on the surface of B cells (monomer) and in a secreted form (pentamer) with very high avidity. Eliminates pathogens in the early stages of B cell-mediated (humoral) immunity before there is sufficient IgG Subscribe to my Channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOmrniWfKi-uCD6Oh6fqhgw Watch Again : https://youtu.be/vxWf-66lymg

The genetic code is the set of rules by which information encoded within genetic material (DNA or mRNA sequences) is translated into proteins by living cells. Biological decoding is accomplished by the ribosome, which links amino acids in an order specified by mRNA, using transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules to carry amino acids and to read the mRNA three nucleotides at a time. The genetic code is highly similar among all organisms and can be expressed in a simple table with 64 entries. The code defines how sequences of nucleotide triplets, called codons, specify which amino acid will be added next during protein synthesis. With some exceptions,[1] a three-nucleotide codon in a nucleic acid sequence specifies a single amino acid. Because the vast majority of genes are encoded with exactly the same code (see the RNA codon table), this particular code is often referred to as the canonical or standard genetic code, or simply the genetic code, though in fact some variant codes have evolved. For example, protein synthesis in human mitochondria relies on a genetic code that differs from the standard genetic code. While the genetic code determines the protein sequence for a given coding region, other genomic regions can influence when and where these proteins are produced.

It begins at the transcription start site and ends one nucleotide (nt) before the start codon (usually AUG) of the coding region. In prokaryotes, the 5' UTR usually contains a ribosome binding site (RBS), also known as the Shine Dalgarno sequence (AGGAGGU). The 5' UTR has a median length of ~150 nt in eukaryotes, but can be as long as several thousand bases. Some viruses and cellular genes have unusually long and structured 5' UTRs which may impact gene expression. On average, 3' UTR tend to be twice as long as the 5' UTR. In prokaryotic mRNAs the 5' UTR is normally shorter. Several regulatory sequences may be found in the 5' UTR: Binding sites for proteins, that may affect the mRNA's stability or translation, for example iron responsive elements, that regulate gene expression in response to iron. Riboswitches. Sequences that promote or inhibit translation initiation. Introns within 5' UTRs have been linked to regulation of gene expression and mRNA export. Alternative splicing and variation of the transcription start site can produce alternative 5′UTRs. Diversity within the 5′UTR of a gene enables variation in expression, which is dependent on the regulatory elements contained in the alternative 5' UTR. Mutations to sequences within the 5' UTR as well as changes to the length of the 5' UTR have been implicated in various human diseases, such as hereditary thrombocythaemia.
